Flexibility with a 12-Block Layout

This month, I’m sharing a 12-block version of the pattern. One thing I love about this version is that it gives you the flexibility to lay out your quilt in a 3×4 grid, so you’re not stuck with the traditional square layout. If you’re looking for a way to change things up, the rectangular quilt layout is a perfect option. It’s great for hanging on a wall, draping over a couch, or making a quilt that stands out.

Two Pumpkin Style Options

The beauty of the Golden Harvest block is that it offers you creative choices. Whether you love the scrappy look or prefer a cleaner, solid design, this block has options for both.

• Scrappy Pumpkin: You can go scrappy with fabrics one and two, giving the pumpkin a charming, patchwork vibe.
• Solid Pumpkin: Or, if you want a more streamlined look, you can opt for a solid pumpkin by cutting a 6.5” x 8.5” rectangle. This simplifies the block while still delivering that cozy fall feeling.

Adding a Halloween Twist

I couldn’t resist getting extra festive this month! I’m working on an additional pumpkin block using the solid rectangle option, and I’m giving it a fun twist by adding a face with embroidery! ???? It’s the perfect way to bring a little Halloween spirit into your project. If you’re feeling creative, try adding a face to your pumpkin block too — it’s such a playful way to personalize your quilt.
