Quilt Club | May Mix & Match Quilt Block Pattern
Welcome to May at the Sweet Potato Quilt Club!
You’d think that we’d run out of quilt block ideas after all these months, but in some ways, I feel like we are just getting started – I am so excited about this month’s mix-and-match quilt block pattern, Star Kiss. I love this quilt block because it is asymmetrical in design. That means, you can choose to make a quilt layout with the blocks in different rotation settings – and the result will be fabulous. Take a look at how the layout I went with make it look like the stars are floating randomly over a roaming checkered landscape:Are you interested in joining the Quilt Club where you can access more mix and match quilt block patterns like this?

Members get a monthly 18″ mix and match quilt block pattern that enables them to make 1, 5, 9. 13. and 25 iterations of a single block – perfect for matching with other blocks! Every block is great for the adventurous beginner and is a unique, one-of-a-kind design that only uses traditional piecing methods. Join the Quilt Club to design your own quilt layouts and make the quilts of your dreams.
Here are just some of the quilt layout options members can choose from this month just for having the Star Kiss Quilt Block pattern in the membership:
Make (4) blocks into a 36″ x 36″ baby quilt (here, you can see the blocks set together at the same rotation):
Make (5) blocks and match them with (4) blocks from a past month to make a 54″ x 54″ throw:
Make (12) Blocks to get a 54″ x 72″ Twin-Size quilt:
The options for quilt designs with our quilt block patterns are practically endless – my only wish is to have the time to make alllll of the possible quilts from our mockups =)
We also host Monthly social Zoom meetings and get-togethers, share smaller projects that are perfect for single blocks, and give away prizes each month that are worth about $50. Join today to and get started quilting with us right away!
